Under French road rules a pedal-assist e-bike is still a bicycle: a motor of 250 W at most, assistance cut at 25 km/h, and no licence required.
The Arcade E-Colors, with 26-inch wheels and five assist levels, claims up to 70 km of range. The Granville E-Urban 30+, with its mid-drive motor and colour display, rides like a regular bike. Helmet, insurance, servicing and breakdown help are included; the deposit is taken by credit card at pick-up, as for every vehicle we rent.

Central Saint-Raphaël is 3.4 km from the shop. The assistance makes the ride home as easy as the way out, even into the wind; Saint-Raphaël-Valescure high-speed rail station is 4.2 km away.
